Health benefits of Vegbatian cold pressed avocado oil
Extra Virgin oil is the highest grade of avocado oil, produced from the pressing of good quality, mature avocados. Produced at low temperatures, without chemicals, the oil is 100% pure and natural. Cold pressing from the first press of the avocado fruit means retains the same high level of nutrients, natural flavor, aroma and color found in the delicate flesh of an avocado.

Process description
Zebatian has put in place a system that ensures all fruits received for processing are traceable from source so as to guarantee a safe and quality product to its customers.
When the fruits are received at the processing plant, they go through a quality check at the entry point followed by a well-controlled ripening process at the ripening chambers.
Only well ripe fruits are released to the next stage of processing which involves a closed system process that starts with washing the fruits, then destoning/crushing to get the avocado pulp. The pulp is then malaxed at a specified time and temperature, good control has to be applied to ensure maximum yield is achieved without damage or loss of the natural nutrients contained in oil. Thereafter, the paste is subjected to a double separation process that applies centrifugation principles.
No chemicals are applied in the whole process to ensure we obtain the oil in its most natural form.
Quality Control
Zebatian has ensured that all activities that lead to the production of the end product are aligned to FSSC 22000 international standards that guarantee safe and quality products. An internal quality control system has been set up in guidance with FSSC 22000. This international standard is audited annually to ensure that consistency is maintained in quality.
