Zebatian Oil Treasures Epz LTD was founded in the year 2020 by Njeri Irungu and started production of avocado oil in the year 2021. The only company owned and led by a visionary and passionate woman in East and Central Africa. Having grown in Muranga county the leading county of avocado fruits in Kenya, Njeri wanted to solve the problem of post harvest waste of the avocado fruits. Njeri then started the Zebatian Oil Treasures Epz LTD company for processing avocado oil. Njeri aims to improve the livelihoods of her community by buying their avocados and processing them into oil. In the year 2021, Njeri won the outstanding avocado women award. We are the leading processors of avocado oil. The company’s vision is to deliver the highest quality cold-pressed avocado oil that meets global market standards. We are FSSC 22000 certified.

In line with the vision, Zebatian has installed a processing plant that has the capacity to produce high quality extra virgin avocado oil for human consumption and good grade avocado crude oil for cosmetic purposes.

Zebatian  has adopted a business model that is based on sourcing the raw materials from suppliers and smallholder farmers, distributed across Kenya with the main regions being the central highlands of Kenya and the southern highlands of the rift valley.

To ensure a constant supply of quality avocado fruits, Zebatian is strategically located in central Kenya which is the leading region for avocado farming, This is achieved through working hand in hand with the smallholder farmers. Zebatian  propagates seedlings and distributes them to the farmers to ensure that they conform to international standards of agricultural production.
